Chef – Full-Time
Cleburne Court Senior Living | Cima Senior Living
Cleburne Court is seeking an experienced Chef to oversee dining services and support daily kitchen operations within our senior living community. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for meal preparation, food safety compliance, inventory management, and supervising kitchen staff to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-Time Position
- Pay: $25–$27 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Variable shifts with weekend and holiday rotations
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations while actively participating in meal preparation and service
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and budget controls
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Assist with dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and general maintenance as needed
- Provide guidance and support to cooks working independently on assigned shifts
- Promote a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of food service leadership or kitchen management experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or a related setting
- Current Texas Food Manager Certification required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
